This module provides a comprehensive introduction to the rail environment. It covers the knowledge and information to keep yourself and others safe when working on and around KiwiRail’s Corridor.
 

Objectives:
• Describe your personal responsibilities when working on the rail corridor
• Keep Safe around the railway by identifying the rail specific hazard and implement the appropriate controls for the environment you are about to work in.
• Identify who to contact for close calls, emergencies, and when locking on and off from Safe places

This module is a prerequisite for all courses offered by KiwiRail.
